Parisian Pasta
A very easy pasta recipe, as well as a simple alternative to the traditional preparation.
Ingredients:
- 1 package of spaghetti, fettuccine or linguine (+ / – 500g)
- 2 1/2 tablespoons of salt
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil or vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 1 cube of chicken bouillon
- 250ml heavy cream
- 4 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper (or to taste)
- 1 cup leftover cooked and shredded (or chopped) chicken
- ½ cup of canned peas (drained)
- ½ cup of chopped ham
Directions:
- Boil water for the pasta. Add salt, olive oil (or vegetable oil), the pasta and cook until “al dente”. Stir occasionally.
- Meanwhile, in another pan, heat/melt the butter, add the crumbled tablet of chicken bouillon, heavy cream, milk and black pepper. Stir everything.
- Add the remaining ingredients, stir again and heat it up well, but do not let it to boil.
- Drain the pasta, toss it with the creamy sauce and serve.
Total Time / Yield:
- 25-30 minutes / 4-5 servings
Notes, Tips & Tricks:
- Add some grated Parmesan cheese on top.
