A simple, very tasty recipe that also goes very well with white rice.

Ingredients:

  • 4 to 6 beef steaks seasoned with salt, garlic and black pepper
  • Vegetable oil or olive oil enough to fry the beef steaks
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4 small ripe tomatoes, peeled, seeded and chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 125ml heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Fry all beef steaks in vegetable oil (or olive oil) and once ready, set aside.
  2. At the same pan, with what was left from frying the beef steaks, saute onion until transparent (lightly browned) and add the tomatoes. Reduce heat and simmer until the tomatoes come apart.
  3. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Add the Worcestershire sauce and mix.
  4. Remove from heat, add the heavy cream and mix lightly.
  5. Serve the mixture over the beef steaks.

Total Time / Yield:

  • About 15 minutes / 4-6 servings, depends on the size of the steaks
