Homemade Creamy Cheese
With this recipe you can make a good amount of creamy cheese at once.
Ingredients:
- 1 liter of milk
- 7 tablespoons of cornstarch
- 1 ½ tablespoon of butter
- Salt to taste
- 1 ½ cup heavy cream
- 100g grated Parmesan cheese
Directions:
- In a saucepan, place the milk, cornstarch, butter and salt. Always stir over medium heat until it thickens well as a porridge. Let cool.
- Once cool, place the mixture in a blender and blend for 5 minutes.
- After this time, add the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese and blend for another 10 minutes.
- Then distribute the cream cheese in glass containers, cover with plastic wrap and leave in the fridge to chill.
- Then use as you wish.
Total Time / Yield:
- About 1 hour and 30 minutes / about 4 containers of 240 to 250ml
