Homemade Mayonnaise
Homemade mayonnaise, besides being healthier, can also be a good option when you don’t have mayonnaise at home.
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon of juice from a lime
- 2 egg yolks
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup olive oil
Directions:
- Mix in blender lemon juice, egg yolks, salt and pepper. Then, with the blender still on, add the olive oil slowly.
- When finished, you will have a creamy mixture.
- Pour the mixture into a bowl, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate.
Total Time / Yield:
- About 10-15 minutes / 2 cups
