Mashed Potatoes
This recipe is very tasty and can be a great side dish for many different dishes.
Ingredients:
- 4 large potatoes
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- Butter for greasing ovenproof dish
- ½ teaspoon of salt
- ½ cup milk
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- Grated Parmesan cheese for sprinkling
Directions:
- Peel all potatoes and cut each one into 4 pieces.
- Cook the potatoes with water and a little salt.
- Once the potatoes are cooked and soft, drain and mash them with a potato masher.
- Add butter, salt, milk and grated cheese. Mix everything so that the mixture is soft.
- Grease a glass dish with butter, place the puree (mixture) and sprinkle grated cheese over the top.
Total Time / Yield:
- About 35-40 minutes / 3-4 servings
Notes, Tips & Tricks:
- If you want the mixture to be softer, add more milk. If you want the mixture to be more consistent, add less milk.
