Parisian Pasta

A very easy pasta recipe, as well as a simple alternative to the traditional preparation.

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of spaghetti, fettuccine or linguine (+ / – 500g)
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil or vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 1 cube of chicken bouillon
  • 250ml heavy cream
  • 4 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper (or to taste)
  • 1 cup leftover cooked and shredded (or chopped) chicken
  • ½ cup of canned peas (drained)
  • ½ cup of chopped ham

Directions:

  1. Boil water for the pasta. Add salt, olive oil (or vegetable oil), the pasta and cook until “al dente”. Stir occasionally.
  2. Meanwhile, in another pan, heat/melt the butter, add the crumbled tablet of chicken bouillon, heavy cream, milk and black pepper. Stir everything.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients, stir again and heat it up well, but do not let it to boil.
  4. Drain the pasta, toss it with the creamy sauce and serve.

Total Time / Yield:

  • 25-30 minutes / 4-5 servings

Notes, Tips & Tricks:

  • Add some grated Parmesan cheese on top.
