Traditional Milk Pudding
A light and delicious dessert.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of sugar
- ½ cup hot water
- 1 can of sweetened condensed milk
- 2 cups milk
- 3 eggs
Directions:
- Preheat oven to medium heat (about 400°F / 200 °C).
- Add the sugar in a pan over low heat to melt, without stirring, until you get a golden caramel color.
- Add the hot water and stir with a spoon until it boils.
- Spread this syrup in a cake pan of about 22 cm in diameter with a hole in the middle. Set aside.
- In a blender, mix the remaining ingredients for 3 minutes or until smooth. Pour the mixture into the caramelized cake pan and cover with aluminum foil.
- Bake in a bain-marie (the water of bain-marie should already be hot), for 1 hour.
- Remove aluminum foil and bake another 30 minutes or until golden.
- Remove from oven and let cool.
- Refrigerate for 2 hours.
- After that time, unmold and serve.

- About 1 hour and 40 minutes plus 2 hours waiting time / 8-10 servings
