Homemade Creamy Cheese

With this recipe you can make a good amount of creamy cheese at once.

Ingredients:

  • 1 liter of milk
  • 7 tablespoons of cornstarch
  • 1 ½ tablespoon of butter
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 ½ cup heavy cream
  • 100g grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:

  1. In a saucepan, place the milk, cornstarch, butter and salt. Always stir over medium heat until it thickens well as a porridge. Let cool.
  2. Once cool, place the mixture in a blender and blend for 5 minutes.
  3. After this time, add the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese and blend for another 10 minutes.
  4. Then distribute the cream cheese in glass containers, cover with plastic wrap and leave in the fridge to chill.
  5. Then use as you wish.

Total Time / Yield:

  • About 1 hour and 30 minutes / about 4 containers of 240 to 250ml
