Mashed Potatoes

This recipe is very tasty and can be a great side dish for many different dishes.

Ingredients:

  • 4 large potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • Butter for greasing ovenproof dish
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • Grated Parmesan cheese for sprinkling

Directions:

  1. Peel all potatoes and cut each one into 4 pieces.
  2. Cook the potatoes with water and a little salt.
  3. Once the potatoes are cooked and soft, drain and mash them with a potato masher.
  4. Add butter, salt, milk and grated cheese. Mix everything so that the mixture is soft.
  5. Grease a glass dish with butter, place the puree (mixture) and sprinkle grated cheese over the top.

Total Time / Yield:

  • About 35-40 minutes / 3-4 servings

Notes, Tips & Tricks:

  • If you want the mixture to be softer, add more milk. If you want the mixture to be more consistent, add less milk.
